The Interactive Hearings brought together civil society organizations from all around the world, and from all sectors, including diaspora and migrant organizations, human rights and labour groups, development organizations, academia and the private sector.

The Interactive Hearings were the opportunity for civil society organizations to share their concerns and ideas with UN Member States on migration and development matters. The informal interactive hearings consisted of an opening session, four interactive panel sessions, an intermezzo featuring the voices of migrants “from the ground”, and concluding remarks.
